Good security and I like having one key operate the pins

by:

Easy to use and provides much extra security. Using it with a bike rack that stays on the jeep most of the time.

by:

Does what it is intended to do!

by:

Wheel feels very solid and I received it quickly. I had it welded to 5/16" wall 2" X 2" steel tubing so I can insert it when necessary . I didn't want to weld it under the tow hitch itself because of already low clearance . When inserted into the tow hitch the wheel extends 3/4" lower than hitch. My truck is a 2022 Chevy single axel cutaway.

by:

Good products fairly priced, took 4days to get here, paid for 3day shipping

by:

I like securing my expensive blue-ox from theft. Disappointed that the chrome so quickly rusted.

by:

Great build. Heavy duty locking mechanism. Have no doubts this lock will hold up over time. Marked down one star because it's a little short for the gen 2.5 Tundra's receiver hitch and required me to shave off some metal off the stock receiver to get it to fit.

by:

Have used it primarily with u-haul trailers. Sturdy, good locking, functional, would buy again.

by:

E trailer had locking hitch pins that I needed and keyed them the same Love not having to figure out what key goes with what pin. Everything was in stock and shipping was fast.

by:

I recently bought several products from etrailer including a Curt 2” receiver hitch, Yakima bike rack, and a Blue Ox locking hitch pin. ettrailer was super easy to buy from. They definitely had the best prices and super quick shipping and their fit guide worked perfect when trying to get a product that will work with what I have. The Blue Ox locking hitch pin works great for securing your hitch. Fits perfect and is super easy to use. Would definitely recommend E-trailer to friends and family.

by:

Delivery was right on time! Thank you “etrailer” I will definitely be placing more orders with you.

by:

The lock has started to rust and is hard to unlock with the key even though I have kept the rubber keyhole cover in place to protect it.

by:

Did it's job well, unfortunately, when I upgraded to a 2.5inch receiver hitch the lock no longer fit

by:

I have not used this lock yet, but I wanted to take this opportunity to commend etrailer for their unparalleled customer service. This is not my first order and it will certainly not be the last. I wish other companies were even half as attentive and efficient.

by:

Added a step down receiver to the receiver on the new motorhome and need to remove the tow bar when it is being stowed. I hate using the spring mounted bolts that are standard (hard on the fingers) and this works great. Be sure you know whether you need one that is 2" or 2 1/2". I measured and bought the 2" one.

by:

Had the lock 1 year, still looks good and have had no problems with it. I actually have 2 and would definitely recommend this product and of course etrailer. Great products, prices, fast shipping and great customer service.

by:

Great service and products as usual

by:

This product was good, but did not fit my hitch because I actually needed a inside length of 3 inch to 3 1/2 long to fit. This one was too short. However, not the fault of etrailer. Had to send back.

by:

Strong and easy to lock, non intrusive with safety chains or electrical equipment

by:

Package arrived in good shape - just what I ordered. Installed easily & works great to tow car behind RV with bike rack in upper receiver spot. Arrived one day ahead of promised. Thanks

by:

Heavy Duty, great item!

by:

I've had this product(receiver Lock) for about a year now and it still works great. Easy to install and remove.

by:

Bought the Blue Ox tow bar also. Couldn't be happier.

by:

Product as described. Use on pickup trailer hitch. Heavy duty.

by:

I keep my Blue Ox on my hitch 24/7, I don't think anyone would even try to take it !

  • Parts Needed to Tow a Trailer with a 2017 Dodge Journey
The trailer hitch receiver I suggest for your 2017 Dodge Journey is the Draw-Tite # 75648. It's a Class III, 2 inch hitch which will give you more towing capacity and more options for accessories. If you're going to be towing with the Journey for a 4-way trailer harness you can use # 118536 if it has LED lights. If it has incandescent lights use # 118567. Both install by plugging into connectors behind the tail lights. You'll also need a ball mount and hitch ball. I've attached link...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver and Towing Parts for 2017 Jeep Cherokee Sport
For your 2017 Jeep Cherokee Sport, I recommend the etrailer Hitch item # e73ZR. This hitch can be installed by anyone who is mechanically inclined and I've attached a video to assist. If you are not comfortable doing the installation yourself, you can take it to any mechanic you trust. It should take about an hour to an hour and a half to install. For your trailer wiring, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118605. This custom-fit T-One...

  • Will Curt Class IV Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit 1974 Ford F-250 with Standard Bumper and 34 Inch Frame
The Curt # C14082 will fit on your 1974 Ford F-250 as long as you have the crew cab. It does bolt on but will require drilling into the frame to install. I've attached a link that shows all of the Class IV hitch receivers confirmed to fit the different models of your F-250. If you also need a wiring harness use the Hopkins # 40105 for a 4-way connector or the Draw-Tite # 20023 for a 7-way. You might like an adjustable ball mount. The B&W Tow & Stow # BWTS10048B provides up to either...

  • Correct Trailer Wiring Harness and Other Parts Needed to Tow a Trailer with a 2015 GMC Terrain
Both the Curt # C56210 and the Tekonsha # 118264 fit your 2015 GMC Terrain as long as you have the tow package. The connectors are designed with a slightly different clip but they both work the same and mate with the same connector. Since you've already found the connector behind the driver's side trim panel in the rear cargo area your Terrain has the tow package. The other parts you'll need to tow with your GMC, if you don't already have them, are a trailer hitch receiver, ball mount,...

  • Best Trailer Hitch Receiver and other Parts to Tow a Trailer with a 2011 Ford Explorer
I recommend the Draw-Tite # 76034 for your 2011 Ford Explorer. It bolts right up on your vehicle. I've linked an install video for you. If you're going to be towing with the Explorer you'll also need a ball mount, hitch ball, pin and clip, and trailer wiring. To power a trailer's lights use the Tekonsha Wiring Harness # 118540. It simply plugs into a black connector beneath the rear of your Explorer on the passenger side. You'll also need a ball mount and hitch ball. I've attached...

  • Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver And Towing System For 2017 Subaru Forester
For your 2017 Subaru Forester, I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75876 for your bike rack and for towing. A 2 inch receiver will allow you more options for bike racks and accessories than a 1-1/4 inch hitch receiver opening. This hitch has an A-coat base and an powder coat finish for excellent rust protection. To tow a small pop-up camper, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector...

  • Parts Needed to Install a Trailer Hitch Receiver and 7-Way Trailer Connector on 2006 Jeep Commander
The trailer hitch receiver I suggest on your 2006 Jeep Commander is the Draw-Tite # 75338. This is a bolt-on hitch with a 5,000 pound maximum capacity. You'll want to check the towing capacity of your Jeep in the manual as well because you'll be limited by the lowest rated component. It sounds like your trailer uses a round 7-way trailer connector. To install the same connector on your Jeep you'll first need a 4-way. Use # 118408 for the 4-way connector and then if you only need the...

The B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class V - 2" # BWHDRH25198. This is a heavy duty hitch that measures 7-3/8 inches from the frame to the top of the receiver. As long has his deep drop bumper fits with the 7-3/8 inch from frame to top of the receiver measurement, this hitch is confirmed to fit his 1990 Ford F-250 XLT Lariat Diesel. The Curt works with almost all wiring and lighting types and uses a powered converter to protect the vehicle's sensitive wiring.
